Thank You for choosing Lacewood
Endodontics!
We feel privileged that you have chosen
our office for your root canal
treatment. Despite what you may have
heard, modern root canal treatment is no
more uncomfortable than a crown or
extensive filling. Every attempt is made
to make your visit almost painless.
Our office is located at 287 Lacewood
Drive, Suite 203B in Halifax on the
corner of Lacewood Dr. and Dunbrack St.
in the Park West Centre.
There is plenty of free parking
available directly in front of our
office. For more information on our
office location, and for detailed map
previews, please visit our
Office Location &
Contact Information page.
Please try to be prompt for your
scheduled appointment. Most visits take
under two hours so please don't schedule
any other appointments sooner than three
hours after your scheduled time. If you
are forced to reschedule your
appointment, please call us at least 24
hours in advance at 902-457-5646.
If needed, please bring your glasses
since you will need them to read and
fill out some forms at your first visit. It is
also important to bring to your first
appointment a list of all prescription
medications you are currently taking,
including any vitamins, supplements and
herbals.
Please call the office immediately if
your physician informed you that you
need antibiotic premedication before
receiving any dental care. Also, be sure
not to skip breakfast if you have a
morning appointment and eat a normal
lunch if your appointment is in the
afternoon.
Be sure to bring any dental insurance
information, X-Rays or notes from your
dentist, as this information will be
helpful. Our office uses the latest
state-of-the-art high-tech equipment to
facilitate your treatment. Our practice
is focused exclusively on root canal
treatment, which results in a higher
long-term success rate and a shorter,
more comfortable treatment appointment.
Since we limit our practice to the
specialty of Endodontics, your general
dentist will provide the necessary
filling or crown shortly after the root
canal is completed.
Since treatment is often performed in a
single visit, payment in full by
cash, check, Master Card or Visa is
expected at the completion of treatment.
We are looking forward to the
opportunity to help you keep your teeth
for a lifetime. Please feel free to call
us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Dr. John Peters
